An out of the box guide This is a whole new and different guide to welcome you to our country – Portugal.

Rather than being vague and vast, our intention is to keep it simple and offer you only what we – as Portuguese – consider to be the very best attractions in our country.

Portugal is a relatively small country and the communications (roads and airports) are modern to get you fast across cities. So there’s no reason why you should stick to one region during your holiday. We help you make it possible by sharing what we consider to be the key ‘dos’. In each region we chose the cities worth visiting and in each city we chose the main attractions, some most known to tourists, others not so much (as to entice your taste for adventure and to go a little out of the box when visiting).

Of course we are aware our tips are based on personal opinions and can be a mere starting point, things you just can’t miss when you come to Portugal.

So wherever available we include the contacts of the local(s) Tourism Office(s) where you can get further information upon arrival, should you desire it. Are you ready to start?
